Abstract
The meeting of the veteran athletes of Cluj took place on September 2, 2023, at the athletics oval of the Iuliu Hațieganu Sports Park. Following the tradition, the former athletes of the “Universitatea” Sports Club gathered in front of the monument raised in the memory of the two giants of Cluj athletics, dr. Ion Arnăut and Ion Moina. During these meetings the participants share their memories and thoughts about the times when they were young, training and playing on the running course and grounds of the stadium.
